Firebird Infernal Dance by Stravinsky

We have been learning about the Firebird ballet, based on a Russian folk tale, with music composed by Igor Stravinsky. Listen closely to for the theme of the evil lord Katschei, with this long fingernails, as well as the theme of the firebird dancing and flying in the sky. Also listen for the theme of the demons, and Prince Ivan, who refuses to look in the eyes of Katschei, as he does not want Katschei to turn him into stone. To learn more about the story of the Firebird, feel free to watch a 3 minute synopsis here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gcwJyZ0tgEI To watch the Infernal Dance of the Firebird Ballet, copy and paste this link: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MOWJuZqQMmk Enjoy!

Hickety Pickety Bumblebee

Sing along with Ms. Koplinka-Loehr and Ms. G in one of our favorite songs, "Hickety Pickety Bumblebee!" Be sure to sing your own name in the song, and you can sing the song with everyone in your family and sing their names, too!
