Parent Input Form

Parent input forms are due in the office no later that Friday, May 12 at 8:30 am.

FIELD DAY IS JUNE 9!

We need to have 2 parent volunteers for each classroom at Field Day this year (including T-K- might be good to have 3 for youngest grades). PTA is looking for a parent volunteer to work with Carina Schroeder to organize this. This is our LH tradition and gives our teachers an opportunity to organize/clean their rooms before summer break.

Need one parent to coordinate list of volunteers / post sign up genius (Carina will be able to assist) and then room parents to make the ask for 2 parent volunteers per class.

2 PTA Positions Remaining

PTA is looking to fill the two remaining positions for next school year- we need a historian and we need a corresponding secretary. The historian helps to track volunteer hours throughout the year and turns in a simple report in March and the corresponding secretary assists with writing thank you notes from PTA, coordinating girl scout troop to provide babysitting for PTA meetings and other simple projects. Both do not take a huge time commitment but are important for PTA to run smoothly and efficiently.

School Supplies for New School Year

Many parents want to know what supplies would be the best to buy for their child’s classroom. The PTA has gathered some suggestions to alleviate some decision making. Purchasing supplies is not mandatory know that all donations will be shared classroom supplies used throughout the school year. These supplies can be sent directly to your child’s teacher during the first week of school. If you would like to bring them in before school starts, the office will be open beginning August 8, 8am-4pm. Please label the supplies with your child’s name so we can give to the appropriate teacher. Have a great summer!
